When life drags you down, you realize what real happiness is. It doesn’t depend on the assets that you have racked up. Many of us have this attitude to pile up the unnecessary things that later give you dissatisfaction and irritation. We were in a delusion that this makes us happy.

Life is simple, and yet we make it more complicated. A simple life is a necessity for less stress, more time, and happier life. The following are some of the ways how we can make our life simpler and more effective.

Always smile:

Do you ever smile by looking at smiling or laughing face others? Yes, right. Smile or laugh is contagious. If you stay happy or laugh, it will surely make an impact on others.

Life is full of ups and downs. Whatever condition we may be in, we need to stay happy and keep smiling. Being happy shows how much you are enjoying your life despite all the problems you have. It spreads joy and reduces stress. Overall it improves your mood and gives you positive vibes.

Buy basic things:

As you get wealthier, you tend to buy more stuff. Your home is occupied by full of useless items which we don’t use anymore. So, de-cluttering is a must to free our minds as well as to make it more spacious.

You are supposed to buy basic needs such as food, clothes, etc. Although you have lots of money, it’s better to save some for an emergency better than any extravagant expenses. You can utilize in charity for the needy people as well.

Fix your budget:

You need to make a list of the necessary things according to your budget. When you list out the things which you need or bills to pay, you get aware of it. You can cancel your extra expenses and save lots of money.

You won’t be short of money as you will be sticking to your expenses. These things will easily lessen your stress that free your mind that can do many good things for yourself as well as for others.

Manage time for yourself:

You all are busy struggling in your lives. No matter how hard you try, you won’t be able to free your mind and body. During working days, you are all tied up in the office, and on weekends, you keep on running for the submission of your work.

You might think that being available 24/7 gives you a medal or appraisal. But no, it all depends upon your outcome. If you fully occupied with all these stressors then, trust me, you won’t be able to give your 100%. Some of you won’t even get a chance to sleep or eat properly.

So, take a break from your work. A day with no paperwork, no emails, no phone calls, and no meetings makes you more creative and productive. You can go hiking or a picnic. Being close to nature makes you more refreshed.

Cut yourself off from the digital world once a while:

Technology is a significant part of our lives. Life is so much easier and faster with the help of technology. In this dynamic world, without technology, life is meaningless. And along with that, it also brings stress, anxiety, and depression.

You all are glued to your cell phones every time. You continuously check your phones and won’t get able to give proper time to anyone or to focus on your work.

Nowadays, as soon as you get up, the first you do is to hold your phones to check. Even toddlers are getting addicted to it.

Technology is best but, excess use of anything can harm us.

Just try to cut off connection for a while with these and try to find yourself. I am sure you will create a different world of harmony and peace. Spending time with your family and friends increases productivity and focus, and brings happiness.
